La Cabine du Pilote and Le Havre du Pilote are, in fact, the house and cabin of a real St-Lawrence Pilot! I have been a pilot for now close to 15 years, a cruise ship officer before (where I met my wife, she was a massotherapist onboard!). I bought the house but realized I wasn’t using it as much as I thought and, with the help of my wife Suzana, converted it into a rental house. We regularly use it with our kids and friends but most of the time it is yours to rent!
I am Suzana, born in Brazil, 51. I met my husband when we were both working on a cruise ship, him as a cruise ship officer and myself as a massotherapist (I am a physiotherapist by training). I came to Canada 15 years ago, to join him as he became a St-Lawrence river pilot. We have two beautiful kids, Inácio, now 10 and Allie,now 6! After staying at a few different places, we bought our house 5 years ago. It is a 1948 English cottage but needed a lot of TLC! We are very proud and happy of this beautiful house…a fantastic heated pool which the kids spend hours in every day, the trampoline, sandbox, we have made our house welcoming and relaxing. You will enjoy your time eating out on the deck and watching the kids swim in the pool! And in the night you will marvel at how quiet it becomes while being in the middle of Quebec city!
